PURPOSE:To make it possible to remove a formed food exactly in the molded shape easily from a forming drum, by bringing a food material, e.g. a croquette, into contact only with an annular protruding part in extruding the food material from a hole. CONSTITUTION:A partition plate 43 having a cross section of given length extending from just under an outer periphery of a through-hole 3 in the direction of rotation of a forming drum 4 in parallel with the outer periphery of the drum 4 in the form of a circular arc is fixed to a frame 1 by bolts 44. The outer periphery of the partition plate 43 is brought into the sliding contact with the radial inner end of a hole 6 when the hole 6 is in agreement with the partition plate 43 on rotation of the forming drum 4, and the inner end opening of the hole 6 is closed. On the other hand, an extruding plate 31 is positioned on the inside of the radial part of the partition plate 43 when the partition plate 43 is in agreement with the extruding plate 31 on rotation of the forming drum 4, and an annular protruding part 35 of the extruding plate 31 is brought into the sliding contact with the inner surface of the partition plate 43. |
