PURPOSE:To obtain a flow rate measuring device having the high reliability, by installing a rotating blade within a flow path of the fluid in a container, producing the acoustic pulse in accordance with the rotation of the rotating blade and detecting the coustic pulse. CONSTITUTION:A turbine 2 is turned when a fluid flows, and a cam 14 of an acoustic pulse generator 11 is turned with the rotation of a shaft 3. With the rotation of the cam 14, a hammer 15 moved in the direction where the distance increases to a turning fork 18 is suddenly attracted toward the cam 14 at the jumping part of the cam 14, i.e. at the area having a difference of levels. In this case, the tip of the hammer 15 hits the tuning fork 18 to produce the acoustic pulse. Thus an acoustic pulse is produced with every rotation of the cam 14. As the number of rotations of the turbine 2 is proportional to the flow rate of the fluid, the flow rate can be measured by detecting the acoustic pulse by an acoustic pulses in the unit time by a signal processor 13. |
