摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an electronic balance which can facilitate the compensation of a bias error, by providing a vertical load measuring means that measures the vertical load on a scale of the balance plus a bias error compensating means that gives a compensating operation to the bias error caused by the bias load on the scale. CONSTITUTION:A load 11 is put on a scale 1, and a bending moment caused by the load 11 is detected in the form of a change of resistance of a strain gauge of a bridge. In other words, a deflection signal fx obtained by a right- left moment is supplied to an amplifier 5b by a bridge comprising resistances a1, a2, c1 and c2, and a deflection signal fy obtained by a back-forth moment is supplied to an amplifier 5a by a bridge comprising resistances b1, b2, d1 and d2 respectively. An operator controls compensation/control parts 6a and 6b to decide coefficients K1X and K1Y, and then output signals Fx and Fy of the parts 6a and 6b are introduced to a bias error compensating operator 7 in accordance with the signals fx and fy. The operator 7 supplies the signals Fx and Fy plus vertical load W to calculate f1(Fx) and f2(Fy) and delivers f(W) of equationIto an operation part 9.
