PURPOSE:To improve color forming heat-sensitivity and to prevent a sticking phenomenon, by a method wherein a specific cyclohexane carboxylic acid derivative or benzoate ester is added to a heat-sensitive color-forming layer containing a leuco dye and an acid material. CONSTITUTION:A compound represented by formulaI, II, or III (where X is hydrogen, alkyl, phenyl that may have a substituent, or halogen, Y is hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxyl, hydroxyl, halogen, or nitro, R is alkyl, and m and n are each 0 and 1) is added to a heat-sensitive color-forming layer containing a colorless or light-color leuco dye having a lactone, lactam, or a spiropyran ring, and an acid material such as organic acid or a phenolic material as main components at the ratio of 1wt% of the former to 0.1-5.0wt% of the latter. |
