PURPOSE:To obtain the acoustic transponder which can effectively transmit and receive ultrasonic wave signals in the vertical direction, by providing a cone shaped reflecting body in the inside or outside of a boot. CONSTITUTION:The cone shaped reflecting body 13 is provided in the inside of the boot 10 at the tip part of a hermetically sealed cabinet 7. Thus the directivity of the ultrasonic wave transmitting the receiving signals in the vertical direction is improved. In the case the reflection body is provided at the outside of the boot, the same effect can be obtained. Thus the transmission and reception of the ultrasonic wave signal in the vertical direction can be effectively performed. |
