The match box has an inner box (2) that holds the matches and slides in the outer box (1). At the top of the inner box there is a flap (3) which is flexible and can move round an angle of 270 degs. The inner box has an opening (4) on two opposite sides so that the matches can be removed with either hand. There is a striker plate (5) on the inner box. It can have an adhesive panel (6) on one side so that it can be joined to a cigarette box.
