PURPOSE:To simplify the roller unit, and apply electronics by using pattern memory effect alloy as the pressure applying measure which applies pressure between the pair of roller which clamp and rotate sheet material. CONSTITUTION:When the switch of a copier is put on, currnt flows through the heater of roller 8, and the temperature of the roller unit rises. And when the temperature attains to the transition temperature of the pattern memory effect alloy coil spring 11, the spring 11 begins to elongate, and the pressure is applied between rollers 1 and 2. When the copy is finished and the switch is cut off, the temperature of the roller unit decreases, the spring 11 contracts, and the pressure between the rollers 1 and 2 is released. |
