PURPOSE:To detect the blisters in exterior finishes such as mortar by using the temp. distributions of the surfaces of structures by using an IR temp. measuring device. CONSTITUTION:If mortar 2 coated on a substrate 1 such as concrete blisters partly, a space 3 is created between the substrate 1 and the mortar 2 in the blistered part. When solar light 4 falls onto this wall, the heat is radiated uniformly through the substrate 1 in the part where the substrate 1 and the mortar 2 are bound, but the heat radiation is poor in the blistered part on account of the intervention of the space 3 and the surface temp. there rises slightly higher than that of the other part. It is possible to detect the blistered part of the mortar by measuring the temp. distributions of such wall surface by using an IR temp. measuring device by which thermoimages or thermophotographs are obtained. |
