PURPOSE:To detect a multistage bending angle accurately and continuously by appointing the first position that does not interfer in carrying in and out of plate material directly under the die, and the second and third positions that detect bending angle in the rear and in front of the die during bending, and thereby making positioning easily and accurately. CONSTITUTION:In bending a plate material by a press brake, bending angle detecting devices 15 are placed at the first position directly under a die 13 where it does not interfer in carrying in and out of the material and the second and third positions 79, 81 mentioned below, and bending angle is detected at each position. Above-mentioned positions 79, 91 are in the rear and in front of the die 13 respectively, and the devices 15 are in contact with the material during bending and detect bending angles. The device 15 can be moved to optional positions between above-mentioned positions and bending angle of the material can be detected at high accuracy. |
