The transportable supporting structure is for industrial equipment & machinery. It comprises a horizontal base(1) on, underneath or inside which the machines, piping & cablework are mounted, and a central reinforcing portion(5,6) extending downwards from the base & fromed by an oblong column extending from a point near one longside to one near the other. The colum comprises two or more oblong parallel upright supporting girders, and spaced apart, mounted on the underside of the base, the distance between the latter and their lower ends being between 0.5 and 0.3 meter.
