A system for testing a night vision device (104) comprises a camera (106) arranged to detect an image produced by the night vision device (104) and to output image data encoding the image, and a tablet or other processing device arranged to analyse the image data to determine whether the image meets at least one criterion, and to generate an output indicative of whether the at least one criterion is met. The criterion may relate to the presence of blemishes or hexagonal patterns in the image, or the resolution of, or distortion caused by, the night vision device (104). |
