PURPOSE:To obtain an expanded, decorative material having two different uneven patterns by a method in which two expandible synthetic resin layers containing different decomposing temperatures of blowing agents are provided on a base material under a specific condition, expanded by heating, and then subjected to an embossing process. CONSTITUTION:A base material 1 is wound around an embossing roll 6 and then pressed by a back-up roll 7, and a synthetic resin paint 2 containing the first blowing agent is paced only into the recessed portions of the base material 1. Then, a synthetic resin paint layer 3 containing the second blowing agent having a higher decomposing temperature than that of the first blowing agent is covered on the paint 2 and then subjected to a heat expanding treatment. By this, the resin paint layer 3 is expanded by cavitied core portions 4 resulting from the expansion of the resin paint layer containing the first blowing agent in such a way as to manifest an expanded uneven pattern, and then another uneven pattern 5 is provided to said expanded uneven pattern portion by using an embossing device. |
