PURPOSE:To improve the SN ratio of resonance signals by increasing initially formed magnetization by a second static magnetic field generating means which generates a static magnetic field for observation of resonance signals that are of smaller intensity than that of a static magnetic field that is generated from a static magnetic field generating means. CONSTITUTION:A static magnetic field generating device 1 that generates static magnetic field for initial formation by magnetization, a second static magnetic field generating device 2 that generates a static magnetic field for signal observation, an object 3, and a coil 6 for receiving and sending high frequency magnetic field are arranged. Both the magnetic field generating devices 1 and 2 are driven by electric power sources 4 and 5 respectively. The magnetic field generated by the static magnetic field generating device 1 is small but excellent. On the other hand because the uniformity of the magnetic field generated by the second static magnetic field generating device 2 is substantially proportional to the strength of signal and high uniformity is required for it, an electromagnet with large diameter should be used. |
