PURPOSE:To provide a simple operability and to give a good convenience for usage, by automatically forming a no signal part with a prescribed length only with the operation of a pause operator simply at the recording except VIDEO mode. CONSTITUTION:In a PCM deck 20, a PCM processor 21 and a VTR 22 for recording and reproduction are incorporatedly formed. The PCM deck 20 performs normal recording and reproduction, digital mixing recording with a VTR 23 externally connected with the VTR 22 with signal switching circuits 24-28, digital dubbing and PCM adaptor function for recording or reproduction. When a pause switch SW3 is turned on at a recording state except the VIDEO mode, a digital recording mute signal is outputted from a digital mute circuit 291, and a pause signal making the VTR 22 into pause state is outputted with a delay for a prescribed time. |
