PURPOSE:To register new pictures quickly and easily and confirm them, by displaying a synthesized picture by the external indication and using this displayed synthesized picture to indicate the register position of a new picture. CONSTITUTION:In case of registering of pictures, the input of new pictures is indicated to an input indicating part 5, and a file address 11 is inputted from a controlling part 15 to a picture file device 1. By the input of this address 11, pictures 17 to be registered are ranked and are written from an input part 16 to the device 1 and are managed by an address table corresponding to the address 11. When the output indication from the indicating part 5 is received in the controlling part 15, original pictures 7 are read out from the device 1 to a reducing part 2 in the order of the address table and are reduced to a prescribed value in the reducing part 2, and reduction pictures 8 are inputted to a synthesizing part 3. A reduction picture 9 as contents of a table from the synthesizing part 3 is displayed on an output part 4, and new pictures are registered and confirmed quikly and easily in accordance with the register indication from the indicating part 5 by the controlling part 15. |
