<p>A method for producing a flexible polyurethane foam having reduced tendency to form burning embers when it is ignited and burned is provided by incorporating a ketone or benzaldehyde into the reaction mixture for polyurethane formation before foaming, and preferably also incorporating a flame retardant into the reaction mixture before foaming in order to give the foam increased flame retardance.</p> |
