The method of manufacturing a spherical type shielding electrode is improved so that the mesh electrode has a complete spherical surface. A protecting adherence film(19) is deposited on the fine metallic mesh(15) with a spherical type electrode, and then, a supporting frame(16) and a pressing frame(17) adhere to the outskirts of that. The protecting adherence film(19) is removed.
