PURPOSE:To enhance the processing speed, by providing the first recording head which reproduces a picture to record it on the first face of a recording paper, the second recording head which reproduces a picture to record it on the second face of the recording paper, and a carrying path through which the recording paper is carried. CONSTITUTION:In a recording position B of a double face recording device, a recording head 46 is driven by the picture signal output from the first memory M1, and a picture on the first face of an original 1 is reproduced and is recorded on the first face of a recording paper 20. The recording paper 20 where pictures are already recorded on both faces is ejcted and stored on a tray 42 for double-faced recording papers, and meanwhile, the succeeding recording paper 20 where the picture is recorded on the first face is carried up to a resist roller 23 in the rear, and a recording head 47 is driven in a recording position C to reproduce and record a picture on the second face of the recording paper 20. In this case, since a recording paper carrying path between recording heads is made longer than a maximum length of the recording paper 20 in the carrying direction, the recording processing speed is enhanced. |
