PURPOSE:To improve the magnetic characteristics of unidirectional silicon steel plate in the stage of coating an MgO-contg. annealing separating agent on said steel plate and subjecting the same to finish annealing after a decarburization annealing treatment by adding specific contents of Fe or Fe compds. into the annealing separating agent. CONSTITUTION:A hot-rolled silicon steel plate contg. 2.5-4.0% Si, 0.02-0.10% C, and 0.03-0.15% Mn, 0.008-0.080% 1 or 2 kinds of S and Se as an inhibitor is rolled 1-2 times by cold rolling and annealing to an intended final thickness. After the same is subjected to a decarburization annealing treatment in a wet H2 atmosphere, an annealing separating agent consisting essentially of MgO and contg. 0.1-10% Fe or Fe compds. such as Fe2O3, FeSO4 or the like in terms of Fe is coated thereon and the steel plate is subjected to finish annealing by box annealing in an H2 atmosphere. The unidirectional silicon steel plate provided with stable excellent magnetic characteristics is obtained. |
