PURPOSE:To obtain a stereoscopic fiber scope with use of a miniature device, by feeding beams alternately from two optical fibers to irradiate an object to be detected and viewing the object with two eyes through an optical fiber that is not feeding the beam. CONSTITUTION:A pair of optical systems are provided with illumination lamps 1 and 1', image forming lenses 2 and 2', a common reflector 3, image guides 5 and 5', prism 6 and 6', objective lenses 7 and 7' and eyepieces 8 and 8' respectively. The reflector 3 is tilted by 45 to the optical path of the optical system with a transmitting aperture part 3a at a part and turns round a shaft 4 to switch the paired optical systems. In the state shown in the figure, the light of a light source 1 irradiated an object to be detected, and the reflected light passes through the part 3a. This reflected light is viewed by the right eye through the eyepieces 8'. The light of a light source 1' goes straight through the part 3a. The reflector 3 is turned with steps for each period required for an after-image and switched to a state contrary to that shown in the figure. As a result, a small-sized stereoscopic fiber scope is formed with two optical fibers. |
