PURPOSE:To minimize the loss of stepping force by moving a sleeve piston upon failure of one system and fixing a stepped piston through the motion of a ball due to a cam while releasing the liquid pressure control of the other system. CONSTITUTION:A stepped piston will move to the inside against springs 30, 32 to close a valve body 19 thus to perform the liquid pressure control. Upon failure on system 2a, for example, sleeve pistons 25, 25a will move in the direction A. Consequently,a metal ball 27 is applied with an inward pressing force by a cam face 39, to fasten a stepped piston 12 through the sleeve 35. Since the motion of said piston 12 is blocked by the frictional force, the liquid pressure of system 2 is controlled to minimize the loss of the stepping force. |
