PURPOSE:To make the printer convenient by a method wherein a receiver for receiving a printed paper is made transferable between the paper supply side and the side opposite a printing section so that the printed paper can be received on both of the paper supply side and the side opposite the former. CONSTITUTION:A shelf 13 is provided at the middle of the front surface of the printer and a hopper 12 housing a folded continuous paper 1 therein is placed on the shelf 13. The paper 1 drawn out from the hopper 12 is printed by tractors 14, a printing type drum 15, an ink ribbon 16 and a hammer 17 and is transferred beyond the printer so as to be folded and piled in sequence in a stacker 18 provided at the rear surface of the printer. The stacker 18 is removably supported by a wheel 21 capable of rolling on a rail 20 placed on an inclined table 19 which is lowered from the rear surface of the lower part of the printer toward the front surface thereof. |
