PURPOSE:To perform an analysis of a trace of anion, especially, F<->, Cl<-> in high accuracy, by supplying CO2(H3CO3) to an eluate by passing through a specific water dip removing device after removal of a cation from the eluate supplied from a separation column packed with an anion exchange resin. CONSTITUTION:An eluate is supplied from a vessel 1 by a pump 2 and a sample from a sample introducing device 3 is conveyed. Then, this eluate is passed through a water dip removing apparatus 13 after removal of a cation in the eluate passed through a separation column 4 packed with an anion exchange resin by passing through a column 5 packed with a cation exchange resin packed. The apparatus 13 is a double tube made from a slender tube 1 of a cation exchange membrane 131 not permeating an anion such as F<->, Cl<->, etc. and permeating CO2, H2CO3 and a tube 132 and the eluate is passed through a slender tube 135 and then, the CO2(H2CO3) is supplied to the eluate by flowing an outflow liquid from a detector 6 to an outer cylinder 136. Each ion in the eluate passed through the apparatus 13 is detected by the detector 6 and the detected ions are recorded and displayed on a recorder. The detecting sensitivity of the anion especially the sensitivity of F<->, Cl<->, is improved highly by providing the apparatus 13. |
