摘要 PURPOSE:To remove the source of noise generation and produce a robot controlling device for arc welding etc. that can perform highly efficient TIG welding by changing the arc start system from the high frequency high voltage applying system to touch start system. CONSTITUTION:In straight line welding from P1 to P2, when an electrode 18 comes to a position P1-1, an output start signal is transmitted from a control panel 1 to a contant voltage source device 21, and output voltage of the device 21 is applied between the electrode 18 and a base material 9. At the same time, the electrode 18 is brought near in the direction of the base material 9 at moving speed V1. When the electrode 18 comes into contact with the base material 9, a current detecting relay 25 is excited and closes a normally opened contact 26, and performs movement to the next step position P1-3 at speed V2 making the action to move the electrode 18 to a position P1-2 as a center. Thus, short circuit between the electrode and the base metal is released, and an arc is generated between them. Then, the electrode 18 under this condition is moved to the position P1-3. A welding start signal and a welding current setting signal I1 is transmitted from the control panel 1 to an electric power source for welding 5, and initial current I1 is let flow between the electrode 18 and base material 9.
