PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent color picture, by coloring electron beams with a color filter, forming the screen in the resolution in the unit of microne and illuminating the same colored screen with the colored electron beams. CONSTITUTION:The electron beams are colored through the color filter 2, the colored electron beams are emitted on the screen 3 colored in the unit of microne, and the red, green and blue colors of the three primary colors are generated, allowing to obtain a color picture. In this case, the electron rays emitted from three electron tubes 1, 1, 1 are red, green, and blue colored electron rays respectively to form the color picture with illuminated color elements on the screen 3. A sharp coloring is done by providing a fluorescent substance for the color filter. As the method of scanning, the return idle lines are used as scanning lines, allowing to double the number of scanning lines and to improve the picture quality considerably. |
