摘要 PURPOSE:To secure the high output performance also with the low fuel consumption by extending a bulkhead which elongates towards the upstream side from the downstream side in a siamese port which separates a main and a sub- intake ports from each other longer, to the upstream side in the upper part of the section of the passage in the siamese port, and shorten the bulkhead in the lower part of the section of the passage. CONSTITUTION:The stream which flows in the upper part of the section of the passage in a siamese port is divided at an early stage into the main intake port 3 side and the sub-intake port 4 side, since a bulkhead 16 is extended in the upper part, towards the upstream side, and swirl is generated in a swirl part 3b. The stream which flows in the lower part of the section of the passage in the siamese port flows in the large section in the combined form of the main and the sub-intake ports, up to the vicinity of an intake valve 7 in the sub-intake port 4, since the bulkhead 6 is retreated towards the downstream side, so generation of the stronger swirl is prevented in the upper part, resulting in the effect on the high charge of the intake flow.
