PURPOSE:To change the reservation of programs, by broadcasting a discriminating signal for program reservation change after superimposing the signal on broadcast electromagnetic waves and extracting the signal. CONSTITUTION:A receiver 9 extracts a program reservation changing signal from broadcast electromagnetic waves and the signal is applied to a discriminator 10. When the program reservation changing signal is confirmed, the old data is stored in a storage device 11 and new data is stored in a storage device 12. The channel number, weekday, start time and end time of a program desired to be recorded by a viewer are already set to a storage device 4 with a device inputting the program reservation signal externally. A discriminating circuit 15 reads out and compares the content of the storage devices 11 and 14 and when the contents are the same, the content of the storage device 12 is transferred to the storage device 14 through a control circuit 13. Thus, the reservation signal corresponding to the new broadcasting time is stored in the storage device 14. |
