<p>The spindle support slides and is maintained on the base of the lock box. It has some spindles on its front face and a recall spring on its rear face. The spindles traverse, via a number of borings, a first counterplate, an assembly of tumblers and a second counterplate. The tumblers are mobile longitudinally in two directions and they work, after key operation, an opening piston that forces the lock bolt in translation. The bolt is permanently held in the locked position in the strike plate by a spring.</p> |
