<p>PURPOSE:To restrain the deformation of a fiber layer due to a pressure of waste gas and the increase of a gas flow resistance of the layer due to said deformation, by holding respectively a required quantity of fibers separated into small portions by honeycomb structures. CONSTITUTION:A waste gas flows into a filter 5 from its upper part and is discharged downward. Two or more fiber-filters 4, 4a are provided in the direction of the gas flow. Honeycomb structures 2, 2b are provided so as to cover the outlet and inlet sides of the gas of respective filters 4, 4a.</p> |
