PURPOSE:To enable an easy and accurate defining of a circumferential relative position by a method wherein the shroud of the scroll of a rotary machine is of a curved surface to improve a flow of volute flow passage, and a convex part and a concave part which are fitted to each other are formed between the rotor chamber and the shroud. CONSTITUTION:A shroud 2 is also formed with a curved surface 5 to cause a separating line 3 between a rotor chamber 1 and the shroud 2 to be approached to the bottom part of the curved surface 5. At a terminating end position of the volute flow passage 4 of the scroll 7, the shroud 2 is formed with a concave part 12, the rotor chamber 1 is formed with a convex part 13 to cause the concave part 12 to be fitted to the convex part 13, then the rotor chamber 1 is assembled with the shroud 2. |
