PURPOSE:To collect and drain underground percorated water through a water collecting and drain pipe as well as interrupt the flow of the percorated water by a method in which a sheet-like water-permeable structure having continuous water channels is vertically buried under the ground surface and at the lowermost part, a water collecting and drain pipe is laid. CONSTITUTION:A water-permeable structure 7 formed by bonding water-permeable nonwoven clothes 12 on both sides of a plastic net 14 is set in an excavated trench surrounded by sheet piles 6 on the side of a road 3, and crushed stones 9 and a water collecting and drain pipe 8 are laid under the water-permeable structure 7. Then, the excavated trench is back filled with soil and then the sheet piles 6 are pulled out. Since the water-permeable structure 7 is connected with the water collecting and drain pipe 8 leading to the open air, percorated water under the ground drops downwardly in the water-permeable structure 7 to the water collecting and drain pipe 8 and then drained. Thus, the water- permeable structure 7 serves as a water cut-off wall, and therefore, the inflow of the underground percorated water into the roadbed of road can be avoided. |
