PURPOSE:To easily make a diagnosis in a short time by an apparatus which comprises a pulsation detector for detecting oil pressure pulsation, a pulsation separator for separating part oil pressure pulsation due to a component of a rotary oil hydraulic unit from output of the pulsation detector, etc. CONSTITUTION:A failure diagnositic apparatus includes a hydraulic pump 1 which is driven with the number of rotations and the discharge pressure both being held constant. In this state, oil pressure pulsation in a pipe line 2 is converted to a change in voltage by an oil pressure pulsation detector 3. Then, output of the oil pressure pulsation detector 3 is amplified by an amplifier 4, and the change in voltage corresponding to part oil pressure pulsation due to a plunger part is taken out by a pulsation separator 5. Next, a failure ratio D is determined in an arithmetic unit 6 based on voltage values of first and second peaks to judge the degree of failure in the plunger part. By so doing, it becomes possible to make a diagnosis with ease in a short time. |
