PURPOSE:To improve productivity of a core and to reduce its cost, by executing consecutively arrangement of the end of a tube of a temproarily asembled heat exchanger, confirmation of its existence, expand-working of its end port, inspection of failure of its end shape, and removal of a defective, by use of a transfer line. CONSTITUTION:A temporarily assembled heater core HC is transferred forward automatically by transfer bodies 2, 2' which are moved on tracks 1, 1'. A tube end arranging device 4, a tube confirming device 5, a tube end port expanding device, a tube end shape inspecting device and a defective core removing device are placed successively from the feed side, on said transfer process. In this state, when the core heater HC reaches said each device, the movement is stopped temporarily. The core heater HC is transferred at equal intervals, and a stop time by said each device is also set to the same time. Accordingly, in said each device, the work processing is executed within its set time. |
