PURPOSE:To completely automate a device, by providing an automatic self- aligning mechanism on an intermediate part of a means for transferring turning force or a load to a pipe expanding head fitted to the shaft tip, and automatically adjusing the pipe expanding head and a center shift of a pipe to be expanded. CONSTITUTION:When a cylinder shaft 14 is rotated by a motor 6, a pipe expanding head 18 is rotated through a connecting rod 13 and a mandrel 1. In this case, since a gap (c) is formed between the connecting rod 13 and the inside circumferential face of the cylindrical shaft 14, the connecting rod 13 can be moved freely up and down, and to the left and right. Also, a spherical part 13a and a spherical seat 14a are formed on the connecting rod 13 and the cylindrical shaft 14, respectively, and a gap (b) is formed between said part and seat 13a, 14a, therefore, the connecting rod 13 can be rotated freely. |
