PURPOSE:To secure the responsibility to processing work having high priority, by defining the priority of plural peripheral devices to be connected to an electronic computer and separating a device having the lowest priority in order in accordance with the calculated result of a load of the electronic computer itself. CONSTITUTION:It is defined that the reciprocal of the value of an idle loop (idle status having no program to be execute) per unit time of the electronic computer 1 is the load of the omputer. Said reciprocal is calculated at a prescribed period, and in accordance with the previously fixed load of the electronic computer 1 and the priority of the peripheral devices 1p-np, a peripheral device ip to be separated is determined. A gate-off signal (is) for an I/O gate circuit ig is outputted from the electronic computer 1 to the peripheral device ip. The on/off status of the I/O gate circuit ig is displayed on a screen il of a display board 3 to inform that the peripheral device ip is separated from the I/O signal system of the electronic computer 1. |
