<p>PURPOSE:To increase the number of stored sheets by providing a flexible guide member at the inlet section of each tray. CONSTITUTION:A flexible guide member 40 is provided at the front end section of each tray 24 so that a copy sheet 25 discharged from an indexer 22 is positively depressed to the bottom 23 of an upper tray 24. The copy sheet 25 discharged from a copying machine 20 and introduced through the lower section of a sorter 20 is inserted between an endless belt 26 and a film sheet from an arrow direction A, and is fed upward in conjunction with the movement of the endless belt 26 and introduced into the tray 24. At this time, the copy sheet 25 is applied a downward curl and guided to the inlet section of the tray 24 by means of the endless belt 26 and a roller 30, and it is guided into the tray 24 while being depressed there to the bottom 23 of the upper tray 24 by the flexible guide member 40. Accordingly, the flexible guide member moving the sheet discharged from the indexer along the bottom of the upper tray is provided at the inlet section of each tray, thereby the number of stored sheets in the tray can be increased.</p> |
