PURPOSE:To obtain functions as a landing place and a tailrace by permitting the start-up of construction work of a plant house in early period by utilizing a water-proof weir as a quaywall for a power plant site readjustment plan. CONSTITUTION:A water-proof weir 7 is constructed on the land inside and outside of a site, and then transported to the position of a quaywall by a floating transport method for setting. The water-proof weir 7 to be constructed in a straight line to the quaywall position is of a form unloadable from a barge at the time of construction. Also, in the water-proof weir 7, a tailrace 4 provided between the quaywall and a power generation plant 1 is passed. By utilizing the straightness of the quaywall, a gantry crane acrossing the whole units is set and used as a common landing facility. The water-proof weir 7 can serve as a cut-off weir permitting the early-period start-up of construction of a plant house and also as a unloading quaywall from a barge, and can also be utilized a trench having a function as a seawater tailrace for circulating water, etc. |
