PURPOSE:To use continuously subchannel numbers of input/output devices without being connected to a predetermined loading position, by setting a port selecting register from continuous subchannel numbers in an input/output controller. CONSTITUTION:The input/output port to be selected from the continuous subchannel numbers is determined at a control section 6 by the prescribed calculation in response to the presence of the loading state of the input/output ports PKG 30-331 read under microinstruction control, and set in a port selection register 1. Then, even if the loading position is different, the selection of ports is done by the continuous subchannel numbers. |
