PURPOSE:To enable the both end faces of tread to be sticked to each other accurately at the specified position of the periphery of a tire body by a method wherein the feeding speed and the periphery speed of the tire body etc. are controlled only when the tread length is subject to specified relation. CONSTITUTION:When a non-vulcanized tread 59 is wound around a tyre forming drum 58 wound up with other tyre comprising materials, only in case the length L of the tread 59 is measured in the process of its delivery comparing with the periphery length l of a blank tire to be wound G, if l>=L, the winding speed V2 around the tire body G wound by the tread 59 and the periphery speed V1 of the tire body G are controlled so that the both ends of the tread 59 may be accurately sticked to each other to be located on the specified position of the periphery of the tread wound body G. The winding speed V2 of the tread 59 may be controlled by means of a sponge roller 52 and a ratched wheel 35. |
