<p>The acute liver toxicity effects of paracetamol are reduced by co-formulating with ascorbic acid derivatives (ascorbate anion bioprecursors) which produce high liver concentrations of ascorbate anion after oral administration of the co-formulation. A suitable ascorbate anion bioprecursor is ascorbyl 6-palmitate.</p> |
