PURPOSE:To increase the strength of an antistatic film to be formed by making an SnO2 conductive film for coating the face of a cathode-ray tube to contain SiO2 and K2O in the specific molar ratio. CONSTITUTION:A conductive film of an SnO2 system, wherein SnO2 is made to contain at least either one of SiO2 and K2O in the Si+K/Sn(molar ratio) within the range of 0.1-7, is used as an antistatic film for coating the face of a cathode ray tube, very small amounts of Sb and F are added to the conductive film of said composition as occasion demands. Thereby, the antistatic film of the cathode-ray tube having large film strength and excellent weatherproofness can be obtained. |
