PURPOSE:To improve the operability such as the extraction of an original and recording paper and to make a case compact in the broadwise dimension by discharging the recording paper from the same side as the discharge side. CONSTITUTION:When the original 4 is inserted to an inserting slot along the upper side of the case 42 at a receiving side in common use for an original guide, the 1st detecting means 15 is operated and a detecting signal is generated and a separating roller 9 and a paper feeding roller 7 start turning. When the original reaches a reading section 17, the paper stops once, then paper feeding rollers 7, 8 of an original carrying mechanism 3 and a platen roller 35 of a recording paper carrying mechanism 33 are turned synchronizingly with each pulse motor to attain the scanning of reading and recording in parallel. The recording paper carrying mechanism 33 carries the recording paper until the recording end part of the recording paper reaches the cut-off part after the end of recording, and cuts off the paper into a prescribed length by an automatic cutter 40 to complete the operation. |
