PURPOSE:To improve the adhering of the lapping part of a tube by connecting a tube to a cable jacket by shrinkage, while fitting the tube onto the cable jacket and heating the whole tube containing the lapping part after the lapping part has been stuck by heating. CONSTITUTION:A flat and rod like heater 6 is tied and fitted to the inner and outer surface of a lapping part 4 by a fastening band 7, and an electrical heating element 8 is energized so as to elevate the temperature of the heater 6 specified temperature. After the specified temperature has been obtained, its temperature is kept for predetermined time necessary for welding the adhering layer 2 of the lapping part. After the temperature has been kept, the heater 6-temperature is lowered to such a temperature that this welding layers are not separated, and then the heater 6 is removed. Next, the tube is fitted on the jacket of a cable, and is heated to the degree corresponding to the heating of ordinary cylindrical heat-shrinkable tube, thereby connecting the tube to the cable jacket by shrincage. Consequently, the lapping part 4 is fully stuck and the leaking water from the lapping part 4 may be prevented. |
