PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of transverse lines in the transferring boundary of a recording paper by reducing unit relative moving amounts in the sub-scanning direction of a recording medium and a heating head beyond the length of plural heating elements arranged in the sub-scanning direction. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 6 having n-numbers of heating elements is moved in the direction of X on a recording paper 2 and a transfer material 13 both of which are uniformly contacted with each other and recording is made. After the recording of a region FPI by the recording head 6, the transfer material 13 and the recording paper 2 are sent by (l1-DELTAl) and then next region FP2 is again recorded. Such a cycle is repeated. Suppose that (l1-DELTAl) is equal to the length T1-T(n-1) for example, or the transferring amount is set up in a lesser amount as much as one recording element rather than recording width, a place corresponding to one recording element on the end is only recorded two times. By providing such a lapped portion, a composite region where energy curve is lowered is produced and the composite energy of the region can be almost equalized with the energy of the other region. |
