PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic core with small iron loss using an amorphous magnetic material by a method wherein a core is formed by winding an amorphous magnetic thih strip and the core is treated by heat under a compression stress. CONSTITUTION:A core is formed by winding an amorphous magnetic thin strip and treated by heat under a compression stress. The compression stress is applied in such a way that the amorphous magnetic thin film is wound for a prescribed turns on a tube which has rigidity and heat resistance, for instance, a quartz tube 4, to form the core 3 and a ring-shaped tightening jig 1 is put on a circumference of the core 3 and is tightened by an upper screw 2 toward the radial direction of the core 3. The core 3, applied the compression stress by the above method, is treated by heat under that condition so that the core with small iron loss can be obtained. |
