PURPOSE:To reduce the cost, by allowing the end face of the core of a light transmission-side optical fiber cable and gathered end faces of cores of light reception-side branch optical fiber cables to face each other and connecting end parts of both optical fiber cables with an ordinary connector. CONSTITUTION:A female joint 11 is attached to the end part of a light transmission-side optical fiber cable 10, and a male joint 13 is attached to end parts of light reception-side branch optical fiber cables 12 and 12, and both joints 11 and 13 are joined and are fixed by a union nut 14. The end part of a core 15 of each of two branch optical fiber cables 12 and 12 is shaped semicircularly, and both cores are gathered and are shaped to the same circle as a core 16 of the light transmission-side optical fiber cable 10, and both end faces are allowed to face each other, thus branching the light in a ratio of light quantity corresponding to a ratio of area. |
