PURPOSE:To prevent remaining of unfibered strands wound on the tip of a roller by winding a strand on a collet while a feed roller in normal rotational condition, advancing the collet, stretching the fibers, and by threading thereafter the yarn through the feed roller. CONSTITUTION:After drive of a cutter roller 10 commences and this cutter roller and a feed roller 9 are at regular speed, No.1 strand 5a is drawn in alignment and wound on a collet 75 upon threading a groove in main guide roller 8 and an aux. guide roller 61, and at the same time drive of the collet 75 is started. When this collet 75 attains a specific regular speed, a pin 62 advances to set off the strand 5a from detention with the aux. guide roller 61. At this time, strand 5a contacts the feed roller 9 to be taken up by the collet 75. Then cylinder 87 of a yarn guide device 81 is put in operation, and the strand is depressed by a move guide 83, where the cutter will cut off the strand. Now yarn guide is completed. |
