PURPOSE:To prevent color mixing and fog by adding a nondiffusible hydroquinone derivative to a silver halide emulsion layer and a nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer and fine oil drops contg. a specified high-boiling solvent. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide emilsion layer and a nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer contain a nondiffusible hydroquinone deriv. and fine oil drops contg. a high-boiling org. solvent represented by formula I in which R1, R2 are each alkyl, alkenyl, or aryl, and the total C number of them is 18-36. Especially preferable compds. of formula I are represented by formula II in which R3 is a straight or branched nonyl, decyl, or the like group. Desirable nondiffusible hydroquinone derivs. to be used in this invention are represented by formula III in which R4, R5 are each H or alkyl, and R6-R9 are each H or halogen. |
