PURPOSE:To enable the optimal fuel increase for acceleration, by heightening the level for the judgment of the accelerated state or nonaccelerated state of an engine as its air-fuel ratio decreases. CONSTITUTION:In a step P71, the air-fuel ratio A/F of an engine is read in from the output of an O2 sensor and the change DPM in intake pressure is read in from the output of an intake pressure sensor. In a step P72, the level REF1 for the judgment of acceleration of the engine is determined from a diagram indicating the relation of the air-fuel ratio A/F and the level. In a step P73, the change DPM in the intake pressure and the judgment level REF1 are compared with each other to judge whether the engine is being accelerated or not. As a result, a fuel increase for the acceleration can be determined in consideration of the actual air-fuel ratio. |
