PURPOSE:To raise the operability of a liquid jet recorder by enabling the charging of recording paper and the exchange of recording liquid to be made concurrently, by a method in which the recording paper and the recording liquid are housed together in a cassette for liquid jet recording and the amount of the recording liquid is controlled to a necessary minimum amount for a number of the recording papers. CONSTITUTION:In a cassette 1, a flexible main tank 20 is housed in an ink tank 1b and a recording paper housing 1a is integrally provided to the upper part. A tube 21 integrally connected with the main tank 20 is pressingly contacted with a rubber bush 22 inserted into the outer frame of the cassette 1. When the cassette 1 of such a constitution is inserted into a recorder body A in the direction of arrow, the hollow needle 23 connected through the supply tube 11 to the head unit is inserted through the rubber bush 22 into the tube 21. When the recording paper housed is all used up, the cassette 1 is drawn out of the body A and replaced with new cassette at need. |
